It seems like the idea of "being hot" has hit SF like crack hit the '80s. "Sex selling" is a newer concept for the altruists of SF, who always considered themselves intellectually above appearances. But now that they've achieved AGI internally, they're starting to realize the only thing left to do is be hot and looksmaxx.
